About the client
Kraftwerk Fitness is a 24/7 gym in Heerbrugg that does not put profit first. The goal is to give members the best possible place to train. The owner hand-picked every machine based on years of bodybuilding experience, choosing the best machine from each brand instead of buying everything from one supplier. Still, the gym is made for everyday people, not for bodybuilders.
The challenge
A 24/7 gym runs with little personal coaching on the floor. Members still need to know how to set up and use each machine correctly, at any hour and without having to ask anyone.
What we built
The Kraftwerk Academy, an app where a pro demonstrates every exercise on video. Each of the 77 exercises explains the setup step by step, how to perform the movement, which muscle group it trains and which similar exercises to try next. Ready-made training plans and a search round it off, in German and English.
Every machine in the studio carries a QR code sticker. Members scan it and land directly on the matching exercise, so the right instructions are always one scan away.
